I was lucky enough to have the opportunity last weekend to represent Chisholm Institute of Technology at the International Digital Entertainment Festival ‘09 in Melbourne Australia.

This was the first year that I had attended iDEF but was aware of its existence.

My role at iDEF’09 was to answer queries about ICT Careers and Courses in relation to Chisholm and in particular Business IT and Multimedia.

I was very surprised as to the amount of parents seeking information for their children, some of which were to young to be doing TAFE qualifications in 2010 but are considering this direction in the next couple of years.

iDEF certainly wasn’t just about ICT Careers, but a demonstration of the gaming industry and digital lifestyles which my other half was certainly more interested in.

iDEF definitely bought out a variety of characters.
