Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR) is a term for a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are merged with-, or augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery – creating a mixed reality.
It appears I have to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS to get AR on my phone.

Correct Jane that it will only work with the iPhone 3GS. Other phones are going into the fold as well, I believe the Android will be capable of AR.
If you YouTube Augmented Reality you’ll see that there are even programs that you can use on your PC with a web cam. It’s amazing the advancements in Mobile Technologies.

I just checked, and it doesnt seem that they have made one for Australia yet..
I may be wrong…but if thats right I think they need to get there butts into gear. Also, this wont work for our iPhones will it? 
Meaning we would have to actually buy a new 3GS one for it to be compadible?
