Government won’t release broadband reports

The Australian Government recently released its budget, one of the areas of interest to me was the initiative of the broadband plan.

Only excerpts, a fraction of the more than 1400 pages of the two reports, have so far been released with the Government pointing to commercial sensitivities as to why the rest has been held back.

The Government says it was advice in the reports, one from an expert panel and the other prepared by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), that prompted its decision to abandon the original broadband plan.
